Jewish Community Services Inc (JCS) provides a number of volunteering opportunities to support and encourage individuals wanting to use their knowledge, enthusiasm and further develop their skills and experience.
We are currently recruiting for a motivated individual to undertake the role of Communications & Social Media Volunteer.
This hands on role will suit an individual who has just completed, or currently undertaking post graduate studies in an area related to marketing, communications, branding or social media. If you are looking for practical hands on experience, then this role could be for you!
The Communications & Social Media volunteer role assists JCS to:
- establish and maintain a positive presence through the range of social media channels available;
- coordinate & promote all JCS activities, programs and events through social & electronic media and other traditional marketing, promotional and communication methods (brochures, newsletters etc); and
- assist with establishing a consistent branding, campaign and communication strategy to reinvigorate JCS to ensure we continue to promote our values to the Jewish and broader community.
