Care Recipients Rights and Responsibilities

From today the Charter has been amended, in line with the Increasing Choice in Home Care measure. The Charter of Care Recipients’ Rights and Responsibilities – Home Care outlines the rights and responsibilities of care recipients when receiving care in their home.

Registered Charity Tick

The ACNC has developed the Tick of Charity Registration (the Registered Charity Tick) for registered charities to show the public that they are registered with the ACNC.
The Registered Charity Tick aims to give reassurance to the public that registered charities are transparent and accountable by highlighting their presence on the ACNC Charity Register.

National Volunteer Week 2016

Today marks the beginning of National Volunteer Week 2016, which runs from 9-15 May. In 2016 the theme is Give Happy, Live Happy which, explores the research that shows volunteers live happier and healthier lives.

Carer support programmes funding extension for JCS
17 February 2016
The Assistant Minister for Social Services, Hon Alan Tudge MP, recently announced a 12 month grant extension for organisations delivering carer support services.
JCS is currently funded as part of the Counselling, Support, Information and Advocacy (CSIA) carer support programme and as part of this announcement we will have our grant agreement extended through to 30 June 2017.
