Social Inclusion & Engagement

JCS offer the following range of social inclusion & engagement programs for individuals aged 65 years and older. All our programs aim to promote independence and reduce social isolation.

These services can be provided as part of  our subsidised Commonwealth Home Support Program services (CHSP) or privately funded services.

The Aim of our In Home Support Services

To provide basic home and community support services so that frail older members of the community can continue to live independently in their own home and community. Our services provide assistance at home, support in getting out into the community, and a break for carers.

Eligibility to Access our In Home Support Services

Our services are prioritised to meet the needs of older people (over 65) and their Carers who are unable to manage at home without assistance due to frailty or disability.

While our services are targeted to members of the Jewish community, we also welcome and encourage referrals from  other individuals over 65  who require assistance with home and community support to  ensure independence is maintained.
